MARTIN COUNTY NOW HAS 252 CONFIRMED CASES OF THE CORONAVIRUS. 15 ACTIVE. 2 CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED. 228 RECOVERED CASES.

FARIBAULT COUNTY 119 CONFIRMED CASES. 4 ACTIVE. 115 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 452 CONFIRMED CASES. 9 ACTIVE AND 439 CASES OUT OF ISOLATION.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Wednesday 282 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 81,868.

There have been 7 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,869.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,364.

As of 11am Wednesday, there were 263 people hospitalized with 136 in intensive care.

A total of 75,055 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

Statistics provided by the Iowa Department of Public Health show another 12 Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 478 more have tested positive for the virus.

A total of 71,137 Iowans have now tested positive for the virus, of those, 50,932 are now considered recovered from the virus.

Since mid-March, 1,185 Iowans have died from the coronavirus, of those who have died, 636 were residents of long term care facilities.

There are currently 322 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus in Iowa with 83 patients in the ICU and 37 on ventilators.
