Minnesota Health Officials reported 1,087 new cases of the coronavirus and 13 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 5,160 people have died because of the virus, a total of 3,339 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.

A total of 410,138 cases have been reported in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March.  Of those 391,248 people no longer need to isolate.

The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 540 new coronavirus cases and no additional COVID-19 deaths in the state.

The number of Iowans who have died from COVID-19 stands at 3,745.

Of those who have died from COVID-19, 1,137 were residents of long term care facilities.

The total number of Iowans who have tested positive for the coronavirus now stands at 275,473.  Of those who have tested positive, 229,626 are considered recovered from the virus.

As of Monday morning there were currently 586 Iowans hospitalized who have tested positive for the virus, an increase of 33 from Sunday.
