FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 1 NEW CASE. TOTAL CONFIRMED 1,216. ACTIVE 28. CASES BEYOND ISOLATION 1,186. COVID RELATED DEATHS 17.

Minnesota Health officials reported on Tuesday 443 new cases of the coronavirus and 4 more deaths.
 According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,490 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 4,057 of those deaths occurred in long term care facilities.
 A total of 485,655 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began last year.  Of those, 472,470 people no longer need to self isolate.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 27 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 456 more Iowans have tested positive for the coronavirus.
 The number of new positive tests reported brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 336,967.
 The data shows there have been 5,498 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 2,174 were residents of long term care facilities.
 A Vaccine Dashboard from the Department of Health shows that as of Tuesday morning, 180,585 people have received both doses of the vaccine, while 349,505 people have received the first dose.
