The Minnesota Department of Health reports 35 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19, a new one day high since the outbreak began.  The deaths reported on Thursday raised the state’s total to 967; 787 of the deaths were among people who resided in long term care or assisted living facilities.

The Heath Department also reported 493 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 22,947.

As of Thursday, 606 patients were hospitalized with 242 in intensive care and 16,555 patients are recovering statewide and no longer need isolation.

Martin County has 126 confirmed cases and the total number of cases in Faribault County is at 13.

The total number of confirmed cases in Blue Earth County is 126, in Freeborn County, the total is 102,

The Iowa Department of Health reported 15 new deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 500.

The Health Department also reports 246 new cases of the coronavirus were reported on Thursday.  Iowa’s total number of cases is now 18,502.

A total of 142,321 people have been tested and 10,148 patients are recovering and no longer require isolation.

In Kossuth County, their total is up to 10 confirmed cases and the total in Winnebago County is up to 12 confirmed cases.
