THE MARTIN COUNTY BOARD ON TUESDAY :
Approved reopening of the Martin County Library and its branches on Friday, January 22, 2021 with limitations. They include 30 minutes of browsing and computer time per visitor and 50 percent of building occupancy according to the city fire code.
Approved the retirement/resignation of Deena Frerichs as Assistant Library Director effective Feb. 28 this year after 44 years of service to Martin County.
Received and filed the CY2019 State Audit Report which received the highest opinion according to Martin County Auditor/treasurer Jessica Korte.
Approved Facility Use Agreement for use of the County owned 1200 North State Street Building by Faribault and Martin Counties Human Services to hold COVID-19 immunization clinics.
Approved Solid Waste Hauler and Recycling Transportation Licenses for CY2021.
Received and filed Recorder’s Office Compliance Fund and Vital Records for 2020.
Approved 2021 Inmate Nursing Services Contract – Sheriff’s Office at the same rate as last year.
Accept the resignation of Miranda Parrott, Corrections Officer with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, effective January 31, 2021.
