The Blue Earth Area School Board has approved a 3-year contract with new Superintendent Mandy Fletcher.

Fletcher’s annual salary the first year will be $133,000 plus benefits. She will receive a pay increase of about $5,000 in the second year of the contract, with a pay increase of about $2,700 in the third year.

The board approved the contract at a special meeting Monday night.

Mandy Fletcher’s first day on the job as Superintendent at B E A will be July 1^st.

Fletcher is currently Superintendent at Granada-Huntley-East Chain.
