A fan bus is being offered for the Fairmont football team’s Class AAA state semifinal game against Perham at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Fans must sign up in person in the Fairmont High School office from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. today or Wednesday. No phone calls or emails will be accepted. The cost is $10 per person and does not include a ticket to the game.
The fan bus will depart by the fieldhouse near Mahoney Field at 1 p.m. Saturday, and will depart U.S. Bank Stadium 30 minutes after the completion of the state semifinal. Students in grades 9-12 may ride unsupervised, but students pre-kindergarten through 8th grade need to be accompanied by a parent. Any adult is welcome to ride the bus.
The Minnesota State High School League will charge $16 for adults and $10 for students in K-12. There is not a senior citizens rate.
There will not be a presale of tickets at Fairmont High School for the state semifinal.
All tickets should be purchased ahead of time via Ticketmaster. A link can be found on www.mshsl.org. Be sure to purchase tickets for MSHSL 2018 State Football Tournament Session One on Saturday, Nov. 17. Tickets are good for all day.
Fans driving to the game on their own are encouraged to purchase parking prior to their arrival through various parking websites. The Mills Fleet Farm parking ramp is directly adjacent to U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Cardinals will be the home team and will be using the Vikings’ sideline for the semifinal. Seating for Fairmont fans will be on the south side of the stadium. Adults and families may sit in Sections F1-F5 by entering through the Delta 360 Club. They may also sit in Sections V6-V10 by entering through the Medtronic Club. Access to both areas is through the Purple Lobby.
Student seating/standing sections are Sections 131, 132 and 134. Section 132 is reserved for the Fairmont Pep Band. Access to these areas is also through the Purple Lobby. All tickets are general admission.
