The Blue Earth Police Department received a call Sunday evening that two gunshot victims were at the United Hospital District Emergency Room in Blue Earth.
A 20 year-old woman, Alexia Andreoff of Blue Earth, and a 19 year-old man, Luis Hernandez of Blue Earth, were identified as the parties injured. Authorities secured the vehicle and the firearm believed to be involved in the incident. After investigation, it was determined the shooting was accidental. Andreoff was treated and released, while Hernandez’ condition was not disclosed.
The Blue Earth PD is seeking a charge of reckless discharge of a firearm. Faribault County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
