Community Health and Human Services of Faribault and Martin Counties reported 5 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Monday, with 1 case in Faribault County and 4 cases in Martin County.

In Martin County, the latest cases are an 18 year old, a 62 year old, a 4 year old and a 31 year old, all not currently hospitalized.

The number of confirmed cases in Martin County is 268, with 16 active cases and 2 currently hospitalized.

In Faribault County, the latest case is a 1 year old, not currently hospitalized.  The number of confirmed cases in Faribault County is 128, with 10 active cases and no hospitalizations.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 475 CONFIRMED CASES. 20 ACTIVE. 451 OUT OF ISOLATION.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Monday 643 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 84,949.

There have been 3 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,922.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,398.

As of 11am on Monday, there were 233 people hospitalized with the virus in Minnesota, with 135 in intensive care.

A total of 78,238 people have recovered state wide and no longer require isolation.

The Iowa Department of Public Health’s website shows 3 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and there are 406 new cases of the virus in the state.

The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of positive tests to 74,767.  Of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19, 53,319 have recovered.

There have been 1,221 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 650 were residents of long term care facilities.

There are 272 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, down two from the previous day.  Of those patients, 75 are in intensive care, with 29 on ventilators.
