MARTIN COUNTY HAS 269 CONFIRMED CASES OF THE CORONAVIRUS. ACTIVE CASES

FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 128 CONFIRMED CASES. 10 ACTIVE. 118 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 476 CONFIRMED CASES. 20 ACTIVE. 452 OUT OF ISOLATION.

 

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Tuesday 432 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 85,351.

There have been 5 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,927.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,400.

As of 11am on Tuesday there were 238 people hospitalized with the virus in Minnesota, with 131 in intensive care.

A total of 78,953 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

The Iowa Department of Public Heath is reporting the deaths of 12 more Iowans from COVID-19.

In the last 24 hours, between 10am and 10am Tuesday, 508 more positive test results were reported.  A total of 75,275 Iowans have now tested positive for the coronavirus, of them, 54,257 are considered recovered.

The statewide death toll from COVID-19 now stands at 1,233.  Of those, 651 were residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently 36 outbreaks affecting more than 800 residents at Iowa long term care facilities.

There are currently 284 Iowans hospitalized with COVID-19, with 74 in the ICU and 29 on ventilators.
