FARIBAULT-MARTIN COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH REPORTS:

4 new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases. All in Martin County.

Case 270: 77 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 271: 79 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 272: 51 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 273: 72 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Total confirmed cases Martin County 273. Active cases 21. Currently known hospitalized 3. Recovered cases 243.

Faribault County has 128 cases. 8 active. 120 recovered.

Watonwan County has 6 new cases to report. One individual in their teens, two individuals in their 20s, one individual in their 30s, one individual in their 40s, one individual in their 50s Total confirmed cases now 482. 24 active cases .Out of isolation 454.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported Wednesday 513 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 85,813.

There have been 5 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,933.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,402.

As of 11am Wednesday, there were 244 people hospitalized with the virus in Minnesota, with 136 in Intensive Care.

A total of 79,583 people have recovered statewide and longer require isolation.

 

Statistics from the Iowa Department of Public Health show another 775 Iowans have tested positive for COVID-19 and one more Iowan has died as a result of the virus.

A total of 76,050 Iowans have now tested positive for the virus since March, 55,005 of them are considered recovered by the state.

The death of one more Iowan raised the statewide death toll from COVID-19 to 1,234. Of those deaths 653 were residents of long term care facilities.

There are currently 291 Iowans hospitalized with COVID-19, an increase of seven patients in the last 24 hours. There are 79 patients in the ICU with COVID-19 and 32 patients on ventilators.
