Case 275: 19 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 276: 57 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 277: 73 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 278: 80 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 279: 44 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Case 280: 73 year old, not currently hospitalized.

Three Martin County cases remain hospitalized.

MARTIN COUNTY HAS 280 CONFIRMED CASES. 27 ACTIVE AND 244 RECOVERED.

FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 129 CASES. 9 ACTIVE. 120 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 484 CASES..26 ACTIVE. 454 OUT OF ISOATION.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Thursday 931 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, the total number of cases in the state is 86,722.

There have been 9 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,942.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,408.

As of 11am Thursday, there were 242 people hospitalized with the virus in the state, with 132 in intensive care.

A total of 79,878 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

The Iowa Department of Health has recorded a sharp increase in new cases of COVID-19 and deaths caused by the virus.

On Thursday, 918 Iowans have tested positive and 14 more deaths attributed to the virus were reported on the state’s coronavirus tracking website.

With the addition of Thursdays cases, a total of 76,968 Iowans have now teste positive for COVID-19, the state reports 55,767 of those have recovered.The total number of Iowans who have died from COVID-19 increased to 1,248.  Of those who have died from the virus, 657 were residents of long term care facilities.

There are currently 271 Iowans hospitalized, with 85 in the ICU and 36 on ventilators.
