FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 234 CONFIRMED CASES. ACTIVE 21. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 1. 213 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 579 CONFIRMED CASES. 12 ACTIVE. 1 CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED. 563 OUT OF ISOLATION. 4 COVIDE RELATED DEATHS SO FAR.

Minnesota Health Officials reported 1,578 new coronavirus cases and 4 more deaths.

According to Minnesota Department of Health 2,353 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 1,649 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.

A total of 135,372 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began in March.  Of those, 120,421 people no longer need to self isolate.

COVID-19 hospitalizations in Minnesota are back at peak levels. Latest figures show 614 hospital beds in Minnesota being used for coronavirus patients — including 149 in I-C-U. About two-thirds of the state’s immediately available I-C-U capacity is being used for patients with COVID as well as other medical problems.

 

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health shows 2 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 677 new cases have been reported.

The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of positive tests to 116,452.  Of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19, 87,984 have recovered.

The data shows there have been 1,636 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 808 were residents of long term care facilities.

There are 561 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state.  Of the hospitalized patients, 129 are in intensive care with 45 of them on ventilators.
