The Minnesota Department of Health reports 32 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19.  The deaths reported on Thursday raised the state’s total to 809 and is the highest one day total since the state began keeping track this spring.

The Health Department also reported 539 new confirmed cases, increasing the total to 18,200.

As of Thursday, 566 patients were hospitalized, with 229 of them in intensive care and 12,488 patients are recovering statewide and no longer need isolation.

Martin County is up to 124 cases with 12 active. and Faribault County now has 11 confirmed coronavirus cases with 5 active.

Watonwan County currently has 42 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.

A total of 104 cases have been reported in Blue Earth County, Freeborn County has 73 confirmed cases,.

 

The Iowa Department of Health reports 17 new deaths from the coronavirus, that brings the state’s total to 400.

The Health Department also reported on Thursday 420 new confirmed cases, bringing the state’s total to 15,954.

A total of 115,031 people have been tested and 8,475 patients are recovering and no longer require isolation.
