The Minnesota Department of Health reported 22 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19. The deaths reported Tuesday raised the state’s total to 1,072; 866 of the deaths were among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities.
The Health Department also reported 210 new confirmed cases, increasing the state’s total to 25,508.
As of Tuesday, 537 patients were hospitalized, with 238 of them in intensive care and 20,381 patients are recovering and no longer need isolation.
Blue Earth County has 142 confirmed cases, Freeborn County has 125, Martin County has 132 cases and Faribault County has 19 cases. Watonwan County currently has 77 MN Department of Health confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.
The Iowa Department of Health reported 1 new death from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 560.
The Health Department also reported 17 new cases on Tuesday bringing the state’s total to 19,956.
A total of 163,969 people have been tested and 11,604 patients are recovering and no longer require isolation. A total of 114 patients are listed in ICU’s across the state.
There are 10 confirmed cases in Kossuth County and Winnebago County has 11 confirmed cases.
