The Minnesota Department of Health reports 19 more residents have died of COVID-19.  The deaths reported on Wednesday raised the state’s total to 1,236 and 984 of the deaths were among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities.

The Health Department also reported 352 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 28,869.

As of today 427 patients were hospitalized, with 193 in intensive care.

Statewide, at total of 24,675 patients no longer need isolation.

Total of confirmed cases in Martin County 143. Total active cases 11. Recovered cases 127.

Faribault County total confirmed cases 25. Active cases 4. Recovered cases 21. Current hospitalizations 1.

Watonwan County currently has 86 MN Department of Health confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.

 

The Iowa Department of Health reported 7 new deaths from the coronavirus bringing the state’s total to 629 and 339 new cases were reported on Wednesday.  The state’s total number of cases is 22,516.

A total of 202,612 people have been tested and 13,545 patients are recovering and no longer require isolation.

A total of 73 patients are listed in ICU’s across the state and 49 were on ventilators.

The total number of confirmed cases in Kossuth County is 16 and the number of confirmed cases in Winnebago County is 12.
