Nine more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19.  The deaths reported on Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Health raise the state’s total to 1,313; 1,041 of the deaths occurred in long term care or assisted living facilities.

The Health Department also reported 197 new confirmed cases, the lowest number of new daily cases since late April.  A total of 30,882 cases of the virus have been reported in the state.

As of Tuesday, 357 patients were hospitalized, with 185 of them in intensive care units across the state.

Total confirmed cases in Martin County now 147. Active cases 7. Recovered 135.

In Faribault County now 28 confirmed cases. Active 3. recovered 25 Currently known hospitalizations 1.

Confirmed cases in Watonwan County still 98.

The Iowa Department of Health reported 8 new deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 661.

The Health Department also reported 122 new cases on Tuesday, the lowest number of new cases since early April.  Iowa’s total number of cases is 24,168.

A total of 230,265 people have been tested and 14,829 patients are recovering and no longer require isolation.

A total of 71 patients were listed in ICU’s across the state and 49 were on ventilators.
