The Minnesota Department of Heath reported that 19 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19. The deaths reported on Thursday raised the state’s total to 1,344; 1,064 of the deaths occurred in long term care or assisted living facilities.
The Health Department also reported 387 new confirmed cases, which raises Minnesota’s total to 31,675.
As of Thursday 345 patients were hospitalized, with 171 of them in intensive care.
Martin County still at 147 cases. 5 active. Faribault County up to 31. 6 active.. Watonwan County now at 115 cases. 23 active.
The Iowa Department of Health reported 6 new deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 677.
The Health Department also reported on Thursday that 358 new cases were reported. The state’s total number of cases is 24,737.
A total of 239,598 people have been tested and 15,453 patients are recovering and no longer required isolation.
A total of 64 patients were listed in ICU’s across the state and 47 were on ventilators.
