MARTIN COUNTY NOW HAS 185 CONFIRMED CASES. ACTIVE CASES 11. RECOVERED 169. ONE OF NEW CASES IS 2 YEARS OLD.

FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 70 CONFIRMED CASES. ACTIVE 8. RECOVERED 62.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 279 CONFIRMED CASES. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 2.

Four more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19. One of the new deaths was 9 months old. The deaths reported on Monday raised the state’s total to 1,545 with 1,187 of those in long term or assisted living facilities.

The Health Department also reported 922 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 47,107.

As of Monday, 247 patients were hospitalized with 115 in Intensive Care and 40,742 patients are recovering and no longer need isolation.

The Iowa Department of Public Health’s website shows one more Iowan has died from COVID-19 and another 343 people have tested positive for the virus.

The new numbers reflect testing reported over the 24 hours between 10am Sunday and 10am Monday.

The data shows there have been 793 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 421 were residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks at 16 long term care facilities in Iowa.

The number of positive COVID-19 tests for the same 24 hour period of time was 342, bringing the total number of positive tests to 38,907.

There are 221 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, 76 of those patients are in intersive care with 30 of them on ventilators.

Of the people who have tested positive for the virus, 27,950 have recovered.
