Community Health and Human Services of Martin and Faribault County reported 7 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, 2 of them are in Faribault County and 5 were reported in Martin County.

The number of confirmed cases in Martin County is 190, with 14 active cases.

The number of confirmed cases in Faribault County is 72, with 9 active cases.

Watonwan County has 280 confirmed cases. 39 active cases. Recovered 241. currently known hospitalized 2.

Minnesota health officials have completed over 876,000 COVID-19 tests since the pandemic began.  The total number is 876,859.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Tuesday 352 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases is 47,457.

There have been 3 additional deaths tied to COVID-19, putting the death toll at 1,548.  Deaths among cases that resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,189.

There are 41,511 people who are no longer isolated.

The number of people in intensive care continues to go down, while the number of people currently hospitalized is up slightly.  As of 11am on Tuesday, there were 266 people hospitalized, with 112 in ICU’s.

The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 5 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and another 512 people have tested positive for the virus.

The total number of positive tests increased to 39,424.

The data so far shows there have been 800 total deaths from coronavirus in the state, of those deaths were residents of long term care facilities.

There are 223 hospitalized patients with the with the virus in the state with 74 of those patients in intensive care with 32 of them on ventilators and 28,335 people have recovered and are no longer isolated.
