A RURAL FAIRMONT WOMAN SUFFERED SERIOUS INJURY IN A TWO VEHICLE CRASH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING ON 260TH AVENUE IN PLEASANT PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP SOUTHEAST OF FAIRMONT. ABOUT 5:45 AM A VEHICLE DRIVEN BY 39 YEAR OLD REBECCA JO WHITMAN HEADING SOUTHBOUND ON THE HIGHWAY AND APPARENTLY VEERED INTO THE NORTHBOUND LANE AND STRUCK THE TRAILER OF A SEMI DRIVEN BY 56 YEAR OLD DAVID DONALD MOSLOSKI OF FAIRMONT,THEN STARTED SKIDDING SIDEWAYS, WENT INTO THE EAST DITCH,CRASHED INTO AN ELECTRIC POLE AND ROLLED OVER, ACCORDING TO THE MARTIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTY’S ACCIDENT REPORT REBECCA WHITMAN WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE AND WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE FIRST TO MAYO CLINIC HEALTH SYSTEM-FAIRMONT THEN AIRLFTED FROM THERE. DAVID MOSLOSKI SUFFERED NO APPARENT INJURY.
