The Martin County Fair Board announced they have entered into an agreement with Zac and Leah Gerhardt to become to the new Fairmont Raceway track promoters for the 2022 season.
The Fair Board supports the Gerhardts in their decision to move racing to Wednesday nights and to choose the USRA sanctioning body that best supports that decision. In the 2022 season you will see an updated concession stand and better track prep equipment. With the updated track equipment race shows should run smoothly and timely. It will also eliminate cancelled/postponed shows due to equipment break downs. Also being discussed are updating some track lighting and better pit arrangements, which should help the view from the grandstands and pits.
