Community Health and Human Services of Martin and Faribault County reported 9 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Monday.

Three of the new cases are in Faribault County and 6 are in Martin County.

Case #115 in Faribault County is 37 years old, Case #116 is a 20 year old and Case #117 is a 50 year old, none of them are currently hospitalized.

There are 12 active cases in Faribault County and since the pandemic began there have been a total of 117 confirmed cases in the County.

There are a total of 236 confirmed cases of the virus in Martin County and 18 active cases.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 441 CONFIRMED CASES. 43 ACTIVE CASES. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 1. 394 CASES OUT OF ISOLATION.

 

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Monday, 679 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 75,864.

There has been 1 additional death associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,817.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,339.

As of 11am on Monday there were 306 people hospitalized, with 131 in intensive care.

A total of 67,656 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

The state of Iowa is reporting 611 new COVID-19 cases and two more deaths related to the virus.

A total of 64,713 Iowans have now tested positive for COVID-19.  Of those, 46,663 are considered recovered by the Iowa Department of Public Health.

Two more Iowans have died from complications of COVID-19.  A total of 1,112 Iowans have now died from COVID-19 since March.  Of those, 598 have been residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks at 36 long term care facilities in Iowa.

There are currently 299 Iowans hospitalized with the virus, 85 of those are in UCU’s and 46 are on ventilators.
