COMMUNITY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES OF MARTIN COUNTY REPORTS 20 new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases.

.Martin County: 11 new cases, with three of the cases being 7,10 and 14 years of age.none currently listed as hospitalized.

4 prior reported cases currently listed as hospitalized.

Total confirmed cases 670. Active 57.

Faribault County: 9 new cases,youngest cases being 2,13,17,18, none currently listed as hospitalized.

2 prior reported cases currently listed as hospitalized. Total confirmed cases 287. 44 active.

Watonwan County has 611 total confirmed cases. 27 active. Currently known hospitalized 1.

Minnesota Health Officials have reported 3,844 new coronavirus cases and 31 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health 2,530 people have died because of the virus so far.  A total of 1,760 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.

A total of 160,923 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began in march, of thos 136,457 people no longer need to self isolate.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health shows 26 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 2,818 new cases have been reported.

The number of new positive tests brings the total number of positive tests to 136,047.  Of the people who have tested positive 96,648 have recovered.

The data shows there have been 1,781 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 865 were residents of long term care facilities.

There were 777 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, a daily record high and an increase of 47 from Tuesday.  Of the hospitalized patients, a record high 182 are in intensive care.
