MARTIN COUNTY HAS 193 CONFIRMED CASES OF THE CORONAVIRUS. 9 ACTIVE AND 179 RECOVERED.

FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 75 CASES. 4 ACTIVE AND 71 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 292 CONFIRMED CASES. 17 ACTIVE . 275 RECOVERED. 2 CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Monday 650 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases is 51,803.

There have been 2 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the death total at 1,576.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,207.

As of 11am Monday there were 257 people hospitalized, with 126 in ICU’s.

A total of 45,198 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

The most current numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health’s website show 3 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and another 469 people have tested positive for the virus.  The total number of positive tests is 42,485.

The new numbers reflect testing reported over the 24 hours between 10am Sunday and 10am Monday.

The data shows there have been 829 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 448 were residents of long term care or assisted living facilities.

There are 241 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, 78 of those patients are in intensive care, with 32 of them on ventilators.

Of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19, 29,729 have recovered.
